Hatch Canada founder and CEO Peter Kuperman received a degree in finance and computer engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. At Hatch Canada, Peter Kuperman supports other charitable causes such as SOS Children’s Villages.
SOS Children’s Villages is a global child-centered federation that is working to protect children by preventing family breakdown and by providing care to at-risk children. Its international network composed of 117 members from different countries, including Nepal.
The Nepal chapter of SOS Children’s Villages has been working hard since the earthquake that struck the country in April 2015. It has since taken up several challenges, including the building of child-friendly spaces, reuniting children with their families, and providing humanitarian support.
More than that, SOS Children's Villages is also involved in rebuilding schools. The damage the earthquake has done to schools was enough to cause them to miss out on valuable class time. Through the organization's efforts, over 10,000 students have been given provided with the resources to help the students – especially graduating students – in their schooling.
